my ride --1973 TX 500
« on: September 14, 2017, 06:41:40 PM »
Hi guys
Thought i share what i have been doing with my bike.
The bike was found in a shed and it had not run in 20 years after some sheer negotiations skills I was able to get the bike. After 2.5 years  the bike has been rebuild from the ground up including a rebuild of the engine. The color is as close to the original Baja Brown as I could get. The handle bars have been hand build and the front forks have had 3 inches taken out of them. the fairing and seat tail are vintage 70's  that was found at a swap meet.

Kliggs, why the 3 inches taken out of front forks... was it purely for lowering C of g?
