Next year it will be the best custom metric trophy!!! PS no one believed it was at x500 yamer or there was from 1974, or that I made the ignition for it. It was really cool to explain it to people. Oh yeah, the kids start only action the suicide shift I think pushed it over the edge. Absolutely no one believed I road it, only those who saw me right it knew for sure.  ;)

Any input as to whether or not I should mount the ignition coils directly on top of the spark plugs on the motor, like make a bracket and mount to the valve cover ???  Kind of looks like it would work on either the TX or access model. Not sure that the single tab that comes on the coil is enough to hold it in place with all the vibration though?!? What do you guys think??

Already did the homework, it lines up with at least one screw toward the center of the engine on both sides, but there is a lot of vibration. Although on the original application, 4.6 Ford modular motor is mounted on top of the engine. Also all you have to do is say simple snip of a spring and a trim of a rubber boot and they will sit right down on top of the plugs. Of course they will both have to be very measured cuts but I'm sure once someone has done it the rest of us can benefit if it works well. . I check in the valve lash when I do that anyways so I guess it doesn't really matter foed the va I checked the valve lash when I do that anyways so I guess it doesn't really matter for me ;)

I am also considering building a springer front end for this bike, it will be my first major project for a long time.   What are the wheelbase numbers, and also the ground clearance numbers for this bike supposed to be? want it to look good when im done. My last major project; my ignition system still works great(ever been tazzed), I will be upgrading to MSD COILS also. Not because of a failure, I just think it would be cool to have brand new ignition coils for once!
