Brake caliper info
« on: November 26, 2013, 01:55:41 AM »
This search chart from Wilwood gives great information on some quality calipers. You can search by rotor width, diameter, bolt spacing.Whatever you want.Click on the blue information thingy for real details like actual usable rotor widths, etc. I just right click[copied] the part number and dumped it into ebay for some real prices. I'll say it again.Give me one good floating rotor with a real caliper and a braided line over 2 heavy discs. At least for our XS500s.My 2 cents  ;) www.wilwood.com/Calipers/CaliperList.aspx?appl=&subname=&finish=&numofpist=&rtrwidth=0.19&pistarea=

Iím curious if you have come up with a good modern setup. Be keen to hear details.

Thanks.

Slightly off topic ... Is it Caliper or Calliper?

Itís Caliper here in Oz. But itís also carburettor here and I believe carburetor elsewhere...
