Thanks Gymi - at least I managed to do that right!!!

Tried starting the bike up today - which it did - but then turned in to a disaster!!!  Oh well, tomorrow is another day :) :)

Tomorrow arrived and - great news - After replacing a carb and a coil I've got it running!  :D :D
I even managed to balance the carbs (carbtune II) and set the air/fuel mixture (colortune)!  :D :D
She is running and sounding great - just one problem, as there always is - the oil warning light stays on but, and there's always a but as well - I have left the bike ticking over and occasionally revving to 3000rpm for between 10 to 20mins at a time and there doesn't appear to be any problems (sounds of grinding metal, siezing etc.)!!!  I've even listened to the top end using a mechanics stethescope and it all sounds squishy rather than grating! ;) ;)

I've added a few more photo's to the part 2 progress work album if you want to have a gander :) :)

Next step I suppose is a short run up the street and back a few times!!
