Okay, I bought the universal throttle assembly and the 2 into 1 throttle cable for aftermarket carbs as well as some generic pod filters that fit onto vm carbs.

So I've run into a bit of a problem. The 2 to 1 throttle cables lack the screws that screw into the carb tops. Is this a problem? I tried cutting them off of my old throttle cables, but the end of the throttle cables wont fit through the hole in the middle...

I dont think it would be but if there is slack or some thing got pulled it could disconnect leaving you either screaming down a road, or stuck on an up hill.

I don't think that will be a problem, I was more worried about there being a vacuum leak or something.
