So it's the bottom pic that is the "after" one, right? Just kidding. ;)

That is an amazing transformation. I like how you converted to rear disk brake with an early style caliper. So much has been changed, did you buy a parts bike?

LOL
No i just found parts here and there and did alot of hunting ! jimmer sold me the forks and shocks ! the wheels are off a 77 RD400 and so are the brakes and swingarm. somethings i bought new like clip-ons , headlight, tail section, pipes ! things like the speedo cowl i made out of the back of the front fender ! i just picked up new VM32 carbs for it and cable, throttle housing and all the paint for the tins. still need to redo a few things but for the most part should have it up and running this spring. still need to get brake lines , ignition ( think jimmer got all the YAM3s ) lol and need to redo front brake as the disk and disk mount wont work with the RD wheels. but will get it all worked out ....

Had to replace the coils on the monkey as one was shot . Was told by a few guys smarter them I that it would help if I made sure the coils where grounded good . So I took off some paint and PC on the coil rack and frame then ran wire from the coil posts to the Neg on the battery  . Need to reset the timing and start over on the carb tuning tonight so lets hope this got it .

Way to go! Thanks for putting it up there and letting the crowd know there's more to old bikes than Hondas.
