Fuel tank cap problem. Help!!

Hi.

I'm new here.

I do not understand, what this tank??

Is comming from XS500B 1977.

Material is aluminum.

Help pleas!

And sorry for my english, i speak better germany :)

Definitely not from Yamaha. Looks to be aftermarket or perhaps a homemade tank. The fuel filler neck appears to be threaded for a screw on cap. I've never seen one like it.

I found.

The fuel tank is specially to maik for 20 liters and lighter of aluminum.

Made by Germany.

So I'm looking for original tank :(

Cloud- not everyone will be able to trace your IP address as somewhere near Liepaja, Latvia- so it would be useless for a USA member to offer a spare tank?  Updating your profile to give your location always helps when looking for parts!
